My Aussie buddy Dan had just finished up a stint down on the West coast of Mexico and was keen for a long walk. My other bud, Anthony, and had just planned out our trip on Steve Roper's Sierra High Route.

 

Naturally, we invited Dan to come along. The three of us embarked on a ten day ripper to Mammoth, where I peeled off and hitched back to Berkeley to make it back for school.
